(Thanks to all those involved, epic ass RP that had been working up to this point for weeks, and more to come Im sure!)

The forest of the Wilds seemed extra quite and still as Alastair made his way down the path, a quick gate - he walked toward his target, not straying or stopping for any passing travelers. He was tasked with a special mission, a delicate one and carried sentimental gifts now discarded. As he thought on recent events, it was as if Gaia's creatures, the trees, the ferns could feel the pending tension about to be unleashed on the unsuspecting, and Alastair felt as though he was about to reveal the end of the world. While the weight on his shoulders was heavy, there was also a feeling of triumph and liberation.

The past weeks with Kyra has been intense emotional felt ones, where each of them came to terms of where their lives had brought them. How things had changed since she was taken away from Karamoon after Kain's brother viciously beat her down. Alastair had no choice but to accept she was gone after endless searching, searching that led to no clues, until one day Runa had admitted to being in contact, told only that she was in a safe place among kin and recovering. Her return of course had been an unexpected and welcomed surprise, feeling as though a piece of the wilds and himself had returned. It was her words “Stay true to your heart, your blood” that kept him going often in desperate times where he didn't know where to belong, as he fought to fit in with the Wilds and the Thal.

Times had changed drastically, but with Kyras return so had come Tol Mithlond and the Lords of Illustrea, Lady Nienna and Lord Thingol, and an invitation to return home. Real true acceptance of his proper kin. All these memories flooded to the front of Alastair's mind as he paused at the end of the bridge leading to the great Dealdrolm. This time in his was supposed to be a turn around, a new calling, a place free of the dogmas he often faced about being cursed lycan, a place where he could roam freely among his own, unarmed and relaxed, content and serene. But still his nightmares wormed it way in to a place it didn't belong.

Kain was supposed to have been cleansed that day by the good grace of Illustrea's children, unlike his more lost brother, as was shown in a dramatic display at Mithlond's grand reception. The people of Ambrea had failed to remember that despite whatever demon possessed Kain, Kain himself was still a demonic creature. The sort that always worked on this vicious cycle of building trusts, making friendships only to destroy and slaughter later. Alastair had seen it with the Wilds, seen the demon play Port, tried to make the two sides war, and then warred his wrath all by himself on the unsuspecting.

Here he was doing it again, courting the lovely Kyra, as beautiful and vulnerable as she was. The demon was cunning, Alastair had to admit, going right for the heart of the elves, their lady speaker with false words of love and affection – well false or not, it was much to Alastair's territorial objection. Even he was in danger of being desensitized to the demons old ways as everyone around him again claimed they needed to believe Kain was a changed man, that he was a good man. Hes not a man – hes a demon.

Alastair made his way down the long bridge toward the gates, about to ask Nethya to go and fetch whom he'd come for when Kain sauntered down toward the iron gates. The guards drew up the barrier and he stepped out, looking surprised to see Alastair there.

“I need a word with you Kain, if you will just follow me” he said softly, no malice to his tone. Alastair walked back across the bridge and stopped just at the other end, that was all he needed.. Just some distance from the others of the Keep. He acted formal, his features hard to read, it was important that he stayed professional "I was asked to return these" He confessed to the demon and produced a basket of roses, a ruby bracelet and a ruby chain necklace. He handed them over carefully.

"You are also not allowed to roam Tol Mithlond as freely as you use to, you must respect the visitors customs, and find an escort, and must give reasons to your visits"

Kain tilted his head, indeed looking confused. ''May I ask why? and those where for Kyra.” A rather large owl hovering near Kain stared at the necklace as if in recognition. Alastair had expected this much, and knew it was likely only the beginning, but he hoped Kains demonic ways and pride would send him back into the keep wordlessly and uncaring. He thought back on his conversation with Kyra, after he reminded her of all the horrible tricks Kain had played, reminding her of his cycles, building trusts to crush. He had opened her eyes to the demons never ending tyranny, and thus she asked him personally to take back the gifts Kain had bestowed.

"She doesn't want them." Alastair replied simply "Please respect her wishes and the wishes of Mithlond" then he turned from Kain to walk off... maybe a tad smug to himself, but would never show it... but was forced to stop when Kain called his name.

“Alastair...” and no surprise to him, the sound of a weapon drawn. Alastair turned to see him holding a blade. ''Tell me now.” the demon demanded angrily, clearly his emotions building into something fierce.

Alastair narrowed is eyes, and a low growl rumbled out from his chest as he shook his head. "You would resort to this wouldn't you, Kain? drawing weapons." He stated with disapproval.

“Because you did something didn't you!” Kain yelled “I really cared for her and even fell in love..yet you did something!" Much to Alastair's surprise- tears started to steam from Kain's eyes, his body shaking as well.

The strange owl fluttered to Kain's side speaking to him in common tongue. “This is very weird Sir, just yesterday the elf called Kyra was sparkling her eyes for pleasure when she received this gift, I wonder what can be changed from today?”

Alastair paid no mind to the bird, any other situation he might of questioned what it really was to be able to speak so, but instead he kept his focus on Kain, thinking perhaps now his life depended on it, as the demon seemed ready to explode. "I only did as she wished Kain." he looked disgusted with this show of tears, it didn't phase him in the least.

Kain snarled back '' I'm going there, and there is nothing you or any of them can do about it!'' The bird kept close to Kain's side, following his heavy strides. "Then you go in vein Kain! you don't belong among the elves, stick to your own kind" Alastair challenged back.

Kain stopped a moment and looked toward Alastair with clear hatred. “I am the last of my kind you asshole!'' he snarled, and went off. Alastair felt his fist clench at his sides. His mind racing to make the decision of whether he should follow or not, to stop the rampaging demon? Or was it now up to Kyra? Regardless Alastair found himself sprinting ahead, taking quick short cuts to get ahead of the demon, putting enough distance between them, that by the time he reached the southern end of Tarrund, it was a few minutes until Kain arrived, and Alastair had stopped on picking op Blazes scent. He ran to her knowing Kain would pass through here on his way to Mithlond, and did trust him not to take revenge somehow. And sure enough, just as he reached Blazes side who was standing up against the old vacant houses -Kain wandered up from behind, his scowl unchanging.

“Your dead to me Alastair''' he snarled “Dead to me!'' tears where still falling from his eyes as the demon headed in the direction of Tol Mithlond.

Alastair frown at Kain with a low snarl "as if I care" he muttered, watching the demon move off in the distance.

Blaze turned from looking up at the building with a small smile, faded quickly at the interchange between he and Kain. She didn't look surprised. "Do I dare ask?" she said wearily.

He looked at her softly "Its not really our concern, its between Kain and Kyra now, I just pray to the spirits he doesn't harm her" he looked deeply worried, but knew now was not the time for him to intrude. He looked to Blaze from the path Kain had taken, smiled softly once more and let his hand caress her arm affectionately. Blaze turned and wrapped her arms about him tightly, though a little awkward for the bump now fit to burst that was their unborn "I've missed you....so much" she spoke against his shoulder "It feels like an age since we had any time together"

Alastair smiled at her show of love and it was just what he needed, he felt all pent up worries evaporate with her against him, that familiar scent of her hair brining him back home and his mind into a comfortable place. With all the chaos and emotion going around, Blaze grounded him once more. "I love you my dear Eleni" he whispered back and kissed her "I hope you know that still" he cupped a hand to her cheek. "I know the past days have been stressful, but I am recovering and Elemmírë is on the way soon, much to look forward to."

Blaze looked up at him "I do know that" she replied, even if in honesty the past days had for her been harder than he realized, all sorts of things running through her mind. Alastair was about to say more, drawn to show her the affection she deserved. Perhaps it was for the turmoil he knew Kain and Kyra faced, perhaps it was the guilt of spending far more time with the Mithlond speaker then his own pregnant companion. But his words would be stayed as Kain soon made his way back of the shore and toward them.

The demon took out his sword of darkness and axe and tossed it at Alastair's feet' “Congrats..you did something no one could do..you defeated Kain....not with swords...not with might, but by tearing my heart in two.'' he turned away ''You will never see me here again.''

Alastair looked up from Blaze, holding her closer, more firmly in a protective way and then stepped out in front of her. "We will see about that I suppose, in good time... where you end up. Something tells me you wont be going far, where ever it is. You defeat yourself Kain, you are your own worst enemy, now you see it, I see it and so does Kyra" he spoke with a firm tone.

Blaze focused on Kain bewildered, not two days ago did he refer to Alastair as brother, talk kindly of him when she had needed someone to talk to, feeling lonely and confused the day before and now this? "Will someone tell me what is going on?" she asked, worried, they did not need Kain as an enemy

"Kain is leaving for good..." Alastair announced to Blaze "...or so he says."

Kain looked defeated and broken down, he seemed not to care who saw him as week in that moment.'' I did love her..'' he says “Now..I got nothing..she should of let me die.'' He finally started walking off' “I wont be far..in my castle in the keep.... where I will remain till my time is over. Alastair..You are my friend, even though we fight..take care of her for me.''

Alastair scoffed, "Tears don't fool me at all, they are born of the abyss, just as all other evil and twisted thoughts that go through your mind and into the minds of others, and I take care of my own, no question about it!"

“ I was not born of the abyss!" Kain retaliated. “I'm a gods damn halfbreed!" he snarls admitting finally out loud.

"It doesn't matter where you were born, what matters is what you are, a demon Kain. Demon!"

“Why do you think my own family left me!? Because I was never demon enough! I feel where they do not!" he said, stepping up and grabbing hold of Alastair's arms, shaking him.. though not hard as Kain acted weak.

Alastair slipped from the demons grasp, shrugging him off. "I don't care about your life Kain.. spare me the sobbing, its disgusting"

Blaze looked shocked, even though she had seen the softer side of Kain before, she had never seen him cry, she could not be so sure that they were false or genuine. She looked between them, wanting to comfort him but fearing Alastair's wrath. "Kain....what has happened between you and Kyra?”

Kain stared back at Alastair “And your a lycan....yet you are accepted!"' he sobbed ''Your a bastard Alastair..'I'm just as capable of love as you are lycan..'' Finally Kain walked off into the distance.

Blaze watched him go dark eyes staring. She then looked sternly back at Alastair "What is going on?" she asked a little more firmly, suspicions teaming.

Alastair snarled, now that Kain was weak, watching him walk off.. triggering a need that had been in him for months now.. he slunk backwards, shifting forms as his body loomed up as lycan, and he bolted after the Demon, intent on tearing him into shreds. He charged until he would attempt to bound on the demon, drive him into the grass so his jaws could rip at his throat. How dare he! How dare she show tears, talk of loving Kyra.. How dare he speak as though Alastair was still a friend, after everything, this was Kains way, its how he manipulated, well no more! Not this time.

Kain turned just as the lycan lunged, but he did not fight back ...he grunted in pain as the beast which was Alastair tore into him. All the hatred toward the demon, memories of all the torture Kain had put him through flashed in Alastair's feral mind, all the deceit, being used, being weak enough to let another demon into the mind, so Kain could capture Alastair as a minion, all that resentment unleashed as the lycan's weight bore down on the demons back with brute force, much like he attacked Kain that day in the Keep throne room, aiming to shred and tear chunks of flesh down to bone.

Blaze had run after them, stopping a distance away, she could not believe after everything Alastair would do this...all his promises of staying safe, being here for her...Kyra and Kain seemed to be ever top of his priorities these days. She felt herself growing to anger and resentment, jealousy and hurt and stalked after them, pale faced and fed up. She picked up speed as much as she could with a heavy burden but paused a few steps, wary of both of them. "Alastair please!" she begged, dark eyes tempered and wavering.

Kain just lays there with tears in his eyes not fighting back and facing the brunt of a lycans anger.. letting Alastair rip into him. blood coming out of his mouth and neck as he groans in pain. It was clear he gave up and didn't care..... his breathing becoming weaker.

Alastair growled primally, the sound of blood and gore around them as he literally attempted to maul Kain to death, his black maw snapping at Kains throat, his demonic horns, horns, tail whatever he could get his jaws on. Kain's demonic body was lost under Alastair's massive ebony form, blood staining the grass quickly. He knew Kain was vulnerable, like any predator would do, taking advantage of the week. Kain yells out in pain as some of his horns were riped out of his skull..as well as his tail.

Kains owl flew close to the demon and stared towards the raging lycans and his claws. Blaze watched on, she had never seen Kain so distraught and yes perhaps he deserved it but she still could not watch Alastair be the one to end him, not like this. "You will kill him! Please...please I'm begging you to stop" she cried not knowing what to do or how to stop them, hardly able or willing to get between them. She felt her emotions flooding back from yesterday, seeing Alastair was consumed by blood lust.

“What are you doing lycan?” Alastair heard the bird speaking. “What runs in your blood to push you killing someone that doesn't fight back?”

Kain yells out in pain once more. He twitches, his eyes slowly dimming as blood pools around him. The loyal owl flew over toward the lycan, attempting to slap his muzzle with her wings, or clip an eye with its talon, but it wasn't enough to distract the ravenous wolf, and the bird couldn't seem to manage to get around the lycans tearing movements on its master.

The black beast ignored all yelling, as he wanted just the demons blood and that was it, there was so much pain and torture to return, he needed to dominate the one thing he could not, and today he won, perhaps yes he did.. he defeated the demon in a way nobody else knew how, emotionally screwed him over so he could take the demons flesh with little effort- they thought they were so smart at their games, when they lost they couldn't take it. Alastair rose up and raked his claws deep into the demons chest and abdomen and ripped downward to expose a line of ribs on either side.

Blaze could no longer bare the sound of pending death and she starts to shiver with an unseen cold, Every fiber of her being wanted to pull them apart, she could feel the desperation tearing at her insides, situation so dire it caused her primal fears and needs, magically inflicted to explode to the surface, but only for the sake of her child did she hold back, a mothers instinct stronger than anything else. She started to cry, not tears of self pity but real tears of fear and distress, she knew she was invisible to Alastair and she backed away, hating what she was about to bare witness to and terrified of what it might do to her. She stumbled, her last glance to Kain, one of sympathy and yet filled with anger at his part in this, before she turned and fled to the port.

Kain had stopped moving and barely breathed. His chest wide open, bleeding and seeing his insides as he gasped for air.

Alastair wished he could speak to Kain while he finally got that he wanted, wanted to rub it in his face.. that Kain wasn't the only one powerful enough to defeat a demon, this would be the second time he'd done it, only now Kain didn't have Raven to help him, and Alastair would make sure he was torn up beyond recognition. He sunk his teeth deep into Kains shoulder and chomping down a few times. Then looming up to look at the damage, to see how dead the demon was.

Kain didn't respond or move, much to Alastair's triumph. Kain felt cold... biting down on him was like chewing on a lifeless body by now.

The owl fluttered to the ground, close to the demons ear, Kains blood wetting its feathers – it looked over his destroyed body and whispered. “ My lord, you have throws away your weapons too fast, the elf has not said what she truly feels for you.” But Kain was unable to hear his owl friend.

Alastair promptly lashed out at the bird, his claws trying to rake across its wing. The bird jumped back faster then the lycans claw. So Alastair lunged again, snapping with his jaws at the feathered imp. This time biting home and gashed a wound deeply inside its small body, the bird fell to the ground motionless.

In the chaos Kyra had run towards them, knowing Alastair's lycan form well. She stops a short distance away at the horror she sees, the one she had fallen for, laying on the ground torn beyond anything she had seen done except to herself by the Dark Lord. She looks at Alastair, her tears falling freely, a look of utter shock that he could do this "Alastair, what have you done?"

Alastair turned from the pesky bird and looked back to the mauled Kain pressing his front paws to the demons chest to watch all the blood ooze out of his wounds, and to assess how much irreversible damage had been done - needing to be convinced Kain would never stand again. He snorted and smeared his crimson stained face over the grass, effectively making himself look blood thirsty. To Kyra's arrival he rose defiantly, standing his full impressive height and glared at her as if to say he did what was necessary and had no regrets.

Kain coughed up blood... his chest wide open... horns riped out of his head... his tail twitching a bit aways from him on the grass riped out as well. His face looking like its been in a meat grinder.

Kyra watches the blood lust in the lycan and her heart breaks to see it. She looks down at Kain, tears streaming down her face as steps forward to stop this madness "Alastair, stop this now"

The lycan growled lowly as the elf neared his prey, he had to fight with his mind to remind himself she was not an enemy. He knew she would probably try and help Kain though, and he could not have that-- so before backing away finally he used his long claws to puncture and shove deep into Kains chest cavity, to ruin his lungs and stop his breathing. Pulling his claw back out with a disgusting squish. Kain eyes go wide as blood comes out of his lung collapses. He wheezed and gasped for air unable to breath now.

The Mithlond speaker watched Alastair and yelled at him in horror "STAND DOWN NOW!!"

Alastair made himself phase forms, kneeling to the ground, and standing half naked and covered in Kains gore and blood, drenched in it. He looked at Kyra "This is for the best - for everyone, Kain's death" he said lowly, not unlike she ever heard, more the tone of a killer, one with no compassion for his enemy.

Kyra looked to Kain in panic, unable to believe one of her kin could do such horrible acts. Her compassion takes over and she moves towards Kain, seeing how badly he was torn up. Cursing in elfish. She focused at Alastair "Not like this.. we are elves!" She turns away running, intent on fixing this shame, heading for a distant camp fire.

"I'm not just an elf" he muttered "And as an elf from the Twilight, I know darkness when I see it, and you Kain are darkness" he said as he walked over, reached for one of Kain's exposed ribs and broke it off, then jabbed it through the demons throat just to be sure "See even YOU can fall, Kain!"

Kyra runs back then carrying a burning log from the fishermen's fire, uncaring that her hand was being badly burned and throws it on Kain as she yells "Back away now!" but Kain doesn't respond to the fire, this time to his wounds, it was to much. What Alastair did was far more then what byron had in his own, pumping him full of arrows.

"Hes dead Kyra" Alastair said to her as if to make her accept it "Now he can no longer spread his chaos and tyranny, it would only happen again in time, I stopped the inevitable!"

Kyra watches Kain, hopeful, but when he doesn't burst into flames as he should, she looks at Alastair, and whats she sees is no longer what she thought him to be " You did more Alastair... much more. did you not even consider how this would effect me?"

Kain just lay there trying to use the fire to at least get himself stable but he couldn't, his breathing shallow as blood comes out of the wounds. His eyes still closed.

"Of course I did! I did this for you, for everyone he has abused! Or will you disregard again all we spoke on, all this demon as done to Ambrea!? to the Wilds to your friends, what about what hes put me through? Do I not deserve this!? I just took out Ambrea's most feared, most manipulative!"

More people had wandered over, Fabian, standing at a distance, as was Enverex "Seem you are finally catching on, Alastair" Fabian spoke out as he simply watched, as they all only watched.

Kain tried to speak then ''You....self...'' he tries to open his eyes' 'bre..ath..'' he couldn't breath as it came out gargled.

“You sought this for yourself. I never asked you to do this!” Kyra yelled emotionally at Alastair.

Alastair focus was drawn away though and he looked down with a growl at Kain's attempt to speak, without hesitation shoved his fist into the demons chest to collapse his other lung "Rest in peace!" he demanded bitterly.

“Alastair!!” Kyra screamed. “Leave..now or you will force me to make you for disobeying your Speaker!”

"So what if I did this partly for myself, it benefits us all regardless, or would you prefer he live to manipulate TolMithlond at a later day where he slaughtered our kin? just as he did the Wilds!?" he stood and backed up finally at Kyras demands. "Fine!" he seethed. "But you need to ask yourself Kyra, do you want to be responsible for the loss of more lives on Kain's hands because you would not let him die!?" he rubbed his chest as if to rid the gore and blood from him, but just made it sheen over hes flexed muscles even more.

The bird came hobbling over “You seems to have your brain filled with just blind rage how far you are from those of your kin? this one that you are torturing has saved my life ... you lie every word from your mouth!” Alastair glared at the bird, he didn't have to explain to it, what was the point? Kain could kill thousands, and if he helped one or two people that made him somehow good? Alastair tried to kill Ambrea's wost, and he is shunned? He knew his time there was spent, to many were around now, and he had no choice but to leave. His adrenalin was pumping hard. He turned and headed into the city to find Blaze, aware she had fled, even though he hadn't responded to her before.

Lol No Alastair didn't use Kyra lol.. Kain just sort of played it all to his favor in ways, he really set himself up! Alastair saw a chance to take him down and took it.
