Broken hearts, a broken body.

(Thanks to all those involved, epic ass RP that had been working up to this point for weeks, and more to come Im sure!) The forest of the Wilds seemed extra quite and still as Alastair made his way down the path, a quick gate - he walked toward his target, not straying or stopping for any passing travelers. He was tasked with a special mission, a delicate one and carried sentimental gifts now discarded. As he thought on recent events, it was as if Gaia's creatures, the trees, the ferns c… Continue

A lesson in listening.

Mormegil smirked "it seems I got company" The Saytr Dyisi twirled her staff nimbly before jabbing it down into the flooring to lean into it comfortably. "Mayhaps... or this is but a dream." Alastair spoke smoothly toward Mormegil “Indeed” moving his white jacket to the side to see how many throwing daggers he had lined up, and waiting for Kyra, as he would do nothing unless asked, but he would guard. Mormegil looked at the lycan "did you eat enough bones for today watchdog?” Alastair narrowed… Continue

Discovering Mithlond.

"This land changes as quickly as the seasons" - Alastair thought inwardly as his feet tread the sandy shores of a place that once use to be a apart of Tarrund, and now was just a barren scape of short beach grasses. He mulled over all the events of past days and weeks, as his boots kicked up the sand lazily, leaving a long trail behind him as he worked his way down the shore - his eyes cast out to the horizon where a massive landscape had risen up. It had been some time since he paid attention p… Continue

Blood Born

A dark skinned elf with black hair approached the magic school with much on his mind. Alastair had been roaming the land of Ambrea on a mission since escaping the hold of the Northvengr. He remained as illusive as possible, only speaking to people as required - keeping his distance and ensuring personal space. Fortunately the number of people he had encountered didn't know his elven form and looked past the strange burn around his neck, almost an acid or allergic rawness to it which betrayed the… Continue

Lost Direction

This life was crewel - it was like waking up to a world that was already predetermined, a play complete with a script and all the actors - and then Alastair. Lead to his own novel, and yet never provided with his back story, not given his lines.. missed his chance to meet his fellow comrades in this long drawn out adventure. He felt similar to a new born, except with the grown body of a man, the mind fully developed - a piercing head ache as he looked around an unfamiliar room which had in ways… Continue

Infection (How it happened, tales of the past)

Rich laughter rang out over a small part of a dense forest, a world cast in twilight. The landscape here was unlike any other of the vast region, pushed back to the far edges of the continent, up against the rising mountains, on the other side a vast grassy plains. Home of the silver elves started at the edge of this dense forest - so dense that no light was able to filter through to its heart. The trees were massive, towering high enough that part of the lush green canopy was obscured in a haze… Continue

Finding acceptance

It was dusk across the land and a mild breeze had picked up over the expanse, carrying the fresh scent of the ocean, and dragging along with it traces of where it had traveled - hints of moss covered cobbles, freshly turned dirt, duckweed on the various ponds met by misting falls and bursting cat tails, revealing the invisible gust with its feathered down - while it wound its way into the tree tops and breaking away the first leaves to shed, hidden still amongst lush greenery of the later summer… Continue

Changing Times

"Thank ye master Wylder, always a pleasure ta do business" came the aged voice of a wiry haired man. He had a kind smile and a friendly warmth to his face. The old one bobbed his head a half bow, clutching at the coin bag in his hands great fully. Glazed eyes with a special shine that only the kindest of old men held was betrayed in the soft light of the small town tavern. There were few people inside, the night had been warm and clear. Many of the folks here were simple farmers, likely out lat… Continue

Nightmare

Alastair stared at the stone path as he walked briskly through the Wilds, his eyes cast downward and his heart feeling wrecked with shame and guilt as he now heavily regretted going to his alphas weekly bardic. There was much reason for him to be on an emotional high, so much was finally working toward his favor. He was back home to the wilds, with his family and elders – the woman he loved at his side, supportive and ready to start a new life. But there was still one demon that forever hovered… Continue

Escape

That night he had stayed awake for most of it, thinking on the wreck he had found in Blaze that eve. She stared out toward the water, lost within herself. She had not heard his approach, had not turned with her usual bright smile. Its like she wasn't there, her body nothing more then a phantom as her mind was lost to an inner demon he could not fight. Never had he felt so helpless – so far any threat at been something he could see, could sink blade or claw into. His fears on what was happening o… Continue

Arrival to Ambrea

The smell of the open ocean had been invigorating once again. The promise of escape one more time – to leave behind a land where ones welcome were overstayed, to be rid of the worries and rumors floating about. To keep away spying eyes as residence grew more wary and suspicious. Before the angry mob realized the cause of horrors and escape was no longer a possibility. Each time the water met him with its open expanse, blue and vast – never ending and none judgmental. Welcoming any who dared to f… Continue

Unnatural Bond

Fading smells of rotting corpses filtered past a wet canines nose as it weaved in and out of long grass. The stench both stung and tickled the delicate nature of the lycans snout. A black furred body followed close behind and large wolf like head carefully sniffed over the landscape. The shadow of the creature held close to the Port wall perimeter after slinking out from the depths of Karamoon Wilds. Contrary to past hunts, Alastair followed the trail of the undead beings with a centered mind,… Continue

Blood lust of a lycan (story from the past)

Through the eyes of an abomination did the deep green scenery rush by. All was a thick blur where most everything was reduced to waves of dark and white flashes in the beasts peripheral view. Nothing but the swift target in the distance was clear, and as the black nightmare rushed forward the fleeing prey drew closer - as bestial senses locked onto its quarry. Alastair felt his muscles fire one by one as his muscular form pushed forward on four black limbs. Hind claws gripped the ground easily,… Continue

The Curse - (just something about his past.)

Three tall figures clothed in the finest of fabrics stood in a line, one more centered then the other two. Each stood positioned in a slight triangular shape - their faces hidden partially by heavy white cloak's embroidered with silver moon and leaf design. Their faces were in varying tones of a soft gray blue - marked with the passage of time and inked with delicate tribal markings. The center most one took a graceful step down his white ivory platform from his Elder peers, his face looked sof… Continue
