About My Characters:

His origin is shrouded in mystery as he himself does not know. When asked whence he comes, he can only respond that his earliest memories are of a wolf pack in the Transylvanian plateau. Yet, he is not lupine but was adopted by wolves who found him as an infant exposed to the elements in the Carpathian mountains. He believes that his human parents could not accept him as he was, a vampire from infancy. His wolf family raised him as one of their own, and taught him their language and how to hunt. His was a happy childhood, away from persecution, safe in the forests of the high mountain range, protected by a powerful wolf clan.

He developed into a skilled hunter, capable to track and catch bison, deer and boar, and to defend his pack from the occasional attack by a brown bear. One day, while hunting for bison, he came about a group of men, armed with swords and clad in armor. He had never seen creatures such as these, and approached curiously. He was taken by surprise when the Roman legionaries entrapped him in a net. The soldiers shackled him, and dragged him off. He never again saw his wolf family, and did not return to his homeland for many years. He was forced to travel with his captors for two winters, during which time he learned the ways of the Romans and their language. It was the time of the Dacian War, and he had to help the war medics, fetching instruments during surgery, boiling water, and feeding the wounded.

At the conclusion of the war, the legionaries took him back to Rome. There, he was kept as a slave by one of the army physicians, but his curiosity and ability to learn quickly prompted his captors to train him in many military and medical techniques. Soon, the new Emperor was again at war with the Dacians, and Marenwolf, as he was now called by the Romans, followed the soldier physician into the field.

He eventually was given his freedom for services rendered to the Roman Empire and started to travel the world, looking for a new home as he knew he could never return to the only home he knew. He traveled to all corners of the Roman Empire, and after its demise, moved ever further to the East, eventually spending many centuries in the Far East and the Mongol Empire.

Everywhere he stayed, he exchanged his knowledge of Roman medicine with the healers of the land and learned about the various ways to heal bodies - not just human but also those of other creatures - from wounds and disease. He made his way back to the West during medieval times and served as Royal Physician in a realm called Incorrigible, situated off the coast of Scotland. There, he met a shape shifting fae, and together they started to look for a place to call home.

About me as a player:

I would describe myself as easy going and friendly, willing to RP with all. I like melee combat in a medieval fantasy RP setting.

I had some very good RP experiences in Incorrigible, Darkness Falls, and also explored the Independent Nation of Caledon (Steampunk is a lot of fun). Karamoon is now my favorite RP region. Other favorite sims are those for education or theater performances.
