~Special abilities~
Sirens Song - Vocal ability to lure other beings into the water. Sometimes a form of manipulation away from the water. Much like a bard with an instrument.
~Weaknesses~
Tends to be clumsy on land until she finds her footing. Has very little tolerance for poisons introduced into the water. If kept from the water for an extended amount of time, her skin dries out, begins to itch, peel, and become increasingly painful.
~Background~
Briefly said, Ja'Niiva is the healer/mystic of the family. Though her relations and ties borderline a very dark existence beneath the waters surface, she would be the one that brings a source of light to the lot of them. It's not only her duty, but her calling to offer physical and mental reprieve to those of their kind, and perhaps others she deems worthy. She takes a great deal of pride in her family. That being anyone that has been pulled into the group by her hand or one of her collective group. Beyond the norm, life has been one big adventure. Traveling in mixed company from one body of water to the next, though the hope is that eventually they will find their place in the world, free and clear of the persecution of the kinder, more lace finned merfolk of the underworld society. Mer like Ja'Niiva are not traditionalist, and frown heavily upon the brow beating world that would prefer they serve one strict purpose and never deviate from a course that they did not choose for themselves.

- I love you, right up until the point where you make me hate you.
I don't choke down BS very well, I don't like to be spoken to in condescending tones, and I don't like in general twattery.
Beyond that, I'm fun loving... almost always happy and willing to roleplay... and glad to make your acquaintance. :D

- Hey - My laptop doesn't want to load Windows. I might be gone for a while 'cause I have no idea how to fix it! I'm hoping Matt can help me tonight. So, if I *am* gone for a while, we'll say Gabriel has been scoping out places for the clan to live. Just in case! I figure that's what he does half the time he's MIA, anyway.
