- About My Characters:
- A Northern Vampire of the Northern Ice Planes and ‘The Lands of Eternal Darkness’. Has human heritage through her father hence not of pure blood. Born of a royal vampire mother and a human father Birthright entitles her to claim a title of nobility amongst her kin but due to half-race status she is unable by Skaersjborg law to continue the royal bloodline.
She must feed on blood to survive and without it loses control of her mind and spirit. Mostly hunts for isolated humans of little value and occasionally likes to glutton herself with a decadent display of grandeur.
As a rule she tries not to interfere with other creatures. Although she is usually private in her nature she does in a way see herself as darkly superior to most other races. Remarkably civilised she will not randomly attack other creatures unless desperate or in defence of herself or her kin. She openly dislikes rogue vampires, as she feels they paint her race in a bad light, aiding the widespread propaganda against vampires as crazed bloodsucking monsters.
Can walk in daylight unhindered but will suffer if weak or thirsty. Both beautiful and elegant with a slightly chaotic mind given past events. She can be both politically sly and deceiving with a touch of arrogance and is adept in the art of disguise, often transforming her outward appearance to wander unnoticed. Rarely seen in large groups of people preferring her own company or that of a more intimate nature.
Outward personality is one of strength and pride but inside she is rather sensitive and carries a lot of hurt and guilt in her soul. As with most vampires she can be extremely charming and seductive if the situation requires. Her dark eyes can take on a slightly hypnotic state should she need to placate an enemy or lure her prey (with ooc consent). Her biggest strength as a vampire is that of a cunning mind. If another permits she can reach out to them in thought or listen to those of others. But also her greatest weakness is that she opens her mind to those of a dark disposition which often leads her into trouble and has earnt her a somewhat murky and moody disposition which others can find offensive.
She was cursed and poisoned with infant dragon blood by a powerful necromancer in the past causing her to transform into a winged vampire/dragon hybrid. Only a powerful mage would be able to unlock the key to controlling her actions whilst in her transformed state through mind-control. The secret was lost with the overthrow and slaughter of her former captor and remains so to this day. However although Blaze knows not this secret she is vaguely aware of the power and corruptibility and often senses the power inside her stirring when she experiences intense anger or distress. She secretly refers to her parasitic power as Hevn and is wary of any discovering the key to controlling and using her as a weapon.
Shape-shift ability is not one of choice, but one fuelled by intense anger,
causing her to temporarily loose her identity and control of her own mind. When in her transformed state she wields the power of ice and parades herself with scathing fury and is a most intimidating sight, afraid of no one other than he/she who controls her. Her vampire blood allows her still in this state to heal quickly and her senses remain heightened, whilst those of an open mind may find their thoughts betray them (with ooc consent) Her true self is aware of what she does to a degree, but is left weakened of body and mind for many hours after she has transformed back to her normal physicality.
She longs for a cure to her ‘infection’ and fears above all that there will come a time when she is forced to turn on those she loves or is left in her wrathful state indefinitely, gradually losing her true self to slavery of the mind. Both her race and her past experiences with magic make her both wary and vulnerable to its power. She has little understanding of it and fears it greatly.

- About me as a player:
- I have been in second life since March 2007 and can safely say I'm addicted. I have always considered myself an RPer even if I have not always played my characters in an official RP sim.
I have a pretty vivid imagination, and love to story tell. The great thing about RPing in sl is that you never know whats around the corner....so many twists and turns....really keeps you on your toes and makes you double your efforts to do the storylines justice by being kickass at defining your character!
RP: I'm pretty much open to anything so long as it fits the setting and the situation and is done properly. I'm not that into metered combat as I always prefer to let words do the talking.
I am open to the twists and turns of RP with regards to uncovering her ‘secret’ and the means to awaken her power. I have not made any final decisions on how it would be done other than it should involve her being provoked into anger and the skills of a great dark mage. I am open to suggestions and mutual planning!

Dark Times
She could hear her own sobs echo about the cave walls; reverberating grief that could only hint at the misery she felt inside.
