It's about time Ambrea got together in a single Ning that covers BOTH Karamoon AND Ravenscraig -- and now Mithlond as well! Introducing -- the Ambrea Ning!

Lemme give everyone some bullet points of what's up:
* Yes, the Ambrea Ning is meant to REPLACE both the Karamoon and Ravenscraig Nings
* No, that won't happen immediately ... there will absolutely be a process of transfer and both the Karamoon and Ravenscraig Nings will still exist for some time as we make the transfer over.
* PLEASE, as soon as humanly possible, start using the Ambrea Ning and ONLY the Ambrea Ning for all of your Ning posting/discussions/etc. If you have currently active storylines that need to be continued, please post them over onto the Ambrea Ning. If you have old storylines that you'd like to save forever, please save them to your computer or print them out. I'm not saying the Karamoon Ning or Ravenscraig Ning will ever disappear (and if they do it'll be a long time from now), but our goal is to make them both obsolete asap.
* Yes, you will need to reform any groups you've started here. Sorry about that - but we cannot transfer groups over to a new Ning.
* Rejoice - it's about time we got these Nings meshed into one!

Kenn is pretty right here, and I dont mean to bash or target you at all Alastair...but who cares really. If you are that worried about the pictures that should be on your computer that were uploaded or you are THAT worried about your comments on people's posts....well I dont see how that is a terrible loss that you or anyone elses "Nice blog, I enjoyed that" is life or death.
The fact of the matter is, this is done for the better and something that should have been done along time ago. So props to whoever finally got around to doing this.

I decided to save the comments by copying them all from here and pasting them into my own comment after I repost my blogs lol... that's one way. Hey I like the comments, .... it means allot to me when people leave meaningful compliments. I'm just bitching since this is damn tedious, ill get over it.

I can remember this discussion of my work; when we went into new forums. People got pissed off, people left... but in the end they returned... and numbers were added to the user-base.
We grew through development, improving our selves. And I see that here happening too. Also the encouragement for cross-sim RP is really good! This should have happened a long time ago.
And for your reference; the forums I work on are not some kind of small forums... xD

What I'e been preaching. Persons make the forums; not the forums itself.
We give only the tools and mods... but the community fills it in. Now it is the best time to browse your stuff and to filter it; republish it.
Usefull discussion on your name? Make a summary... and share it again! We all can learn from your stuff! That little effort is a small thing compared how much you could help others who share the shame passion as you!

Just signed in, it's good to see it combined now. Keeps me updated about all since i cant log in as much as i wanted to.

Okay, I'm sorry. But everyone back up a moment, take a deep breath and ask yourselves.."Is this *Really*, honestly *really* such a big deal?
I for one am ecstatic because I've sorely neglected my Ravenscraig Ning because I am mainly on this one...not that I don't love hanging out, chatting, etc on the RC ning...this way...I don't have to double post my blogs, and I get to chat with everyone...not just one side of Ambrea.
Yes, it's a pain to transfer stuff and this is a pain, etc. But take the chance to experience it first before getting frustrated and worked up.
Because in truth - this is really not that big of a deal. Really. I promise.
In a few months you'll look back and say,
'Huh, wasn't so bad."
*hugs everyone and gives them lolipops*
