Ta very much! Definitely staying in London and have moved to what is commonly known as 'Goth Valley', horrah for not being in an area now where you're just one of the 'local freaks' :D
Goth Valley is made up of Highgate, Archway and Upper Holloway :D And with the punk/metal bar 'The Gaff' and the rockabilly/metal/punk/goth/alternative bar 'Big Red' in Upper Holloway there are lots of alternative peeps wandering around :D
For clothes in London the best place used to be Camden, but sadly with part of the markets going up in smoke and several shops closing there are really only two goth shops worth going to on the mainstreet.
However.. there is a wicked thing called the "Alternative Bring & Buy Sale" which happens every few months and is organised by a group of Goths. Its basically a market that opens up in a hall or in premises above a pub (with a lot of room) where people set up stalls and you can get some really fantastic clothing and other stuff! A lot of it is made by the people that have the stalls and many are happy to take orders and make what you want (within reason).
The next one is on the 2nd August Upstairs at The Music Box ('The Dome') 178 Junction Road (next to he 'Boston' pub) London. Entrance is just 50p :D and have a look at the site for more details http://www.alternativebringnbuy.co.uk/
A mate of mine will be selling/signing her new book there :D
So if you're really in the mood for some new gothwear go and have a gander.
